What is K4?

K4’s Mission is to provide a supportive & empowering community of leaders who are committed to personal growth, service & vital impact. Through brotherhood and accountability, we equip men by providing the tools and resources necessary to become their best selves and create a better life for their families and their communities.

K4’s Vision is to build better men dedicated to making a better life for themselves, their families and communities.

K4’s Core Values are Growth, Service and Vitality. We believe that growth powers service and service guides growth. Vitality enables us to grow and serve sustainably.

K4 stands for King of the Four Houses. Through fellowship, expert coaching, personal introspection and goal setting, K4 men strive to strengthen and balance their four masculine archetypes.  These are:

  • The King House: To create a purposeful life and career of honor, accountability, and service.

  • The Warrior House: To hone the physical and mental vitality and discipline necessary  to carry out our life mission and vision.

  • The Magician House:  To implement the robust spiritual and planning practices necessary to reach our goals.

  • The Lover House: To create and nurture meaningful, honest, passionate and growth-oriented relationships.

Who are we?

Our men come from all walks of life.  Our ranks include business leaders, and entrepreneurs, combat veterans and first responders, doctors and lawyers, artists and musicians, and everything in between.

We are apolitical and nonsectarian and do not discriminate in any way based on sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or other traits or affiliations.

Our mission is to provide each of these extraordinary individuals with the wisdom and accountability they need to achieve their peak potential, and to do this with the utmost integrity.

Philip Folsom

Philip Folsom’s reputation in the team development and leadership world is legendary. His in-person events, seminars, and high ropes course experiences have dramatically improved the lives of over 500,000 people teaching the importance of peace, power, and sacred purpose. His Tribe program has brought the enormous benefits of the world's ancient tribe systems to modern day corporate teams such as Sony, Microsoft, Dreamworks, Apple and RedBull.

Joshua Wenner

Joshua Wenner has spent the last 20 years growing companies and developing human potential. He has trained over 1,000 businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies while working as a speaker and strategist for Tony Robbins. Josh is the founder of Emotional Resilience Training (ERT) and Valor. His curriculum and frameworks are being used to help first responders, veterans and professionals who deal with grief, loss and trauma to reintegrate back into life.

why do we exist?

To build a healthier world by building healthier men. Man is inherently social and tribal, but the tribal nature of men has progressively eroded. Men need a tribe like a wolf needs a pack. We cannot hunt or be happy alone.

Unfortunately most men’s relationships with other men are superficial and revolve primarily around sports, work, and alcohol. Many lack relationships with other men that are authentic and growth promoting.

We exist so that you thrive. Through intentional introspective and authentic work with other men you will unselfishly develop the personal, physical, and mental strength, resilience and healthy relationships to succeed in all aspects of life.

Modern Day men’s rite of passage

K4’s Rite of Passage (ROP) is an intentionally designed program that gives men the internal roadmap to move from prince to king and from a life based on pride to honor.

The 13-week masterclass is delivered through video modules, workbooks and integration challenges that can be consumed on our member’s schedule. The curriculum contains founder Philip Folsom’s Master Maps as well as the contemporary application of founder Joshua Wenner’s Master Toolkit of Emotional Resilience Training.

The programmatic teachings are reinforced with a weekly online fellowship meeting hosted by the K4 founders and leadership team. This meeting builds community as well as exploring and discovering the real world application of the educational content.

Additionally, each man in the ROP is assigned to a K4 roundtable.  These small groups are led by a K4 Captain who has been through the ROP and is returning to continue growing and serving.  Roundtables meet weekly online to discuss current ROP themes and to hold each other accountable for the weekly K4 challenges that integrate the lessons.  These Roundtables have created some of the most robust friendships in our member’s lives.

K4 nation

Once a man has completed the Rite of Passage they may apply for membership to K4 Nation.  K4 nation is our ongoing community of powerful men who share the common values of growth and service. Using our common language and kinship frameworks we support each other and hold each other accountable to make progress towards our individually-defined goals for each of the 4 houses.

K4 Nation meets live online once a week to explore and discover best practices designed to accelerate our leadership, resiliency and life success.  K4 Nation members also continue with weekly roundtable accountability groups.

All K4 Nation men have first access to all K4 retreats, adventures and events.
